Abstract
Digital transformation is an issue that has been raised worldwide in recent years and is especially important for businesses. The result of digital transformation is a dramatic change in the performance of an organization or a country centered on transformative technologies. The Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and machine learning are among the most important transformative technologies that are considered part of business intelligence. Business intelligence is the result of evolution, technological advancement, and management approaches that have emerged in the age of digital transformation. Business intelligence, using advanced technologies, helps provide accurate information, predictive analysis, and better decision-making for businesses and organizations. This chapter discusses the relationship between digital transformation and business intelligence within organizations, different dimensions of business intelligence, and knowledge-based companies most affected by this evolution.
